The "Sandwich" Drill

Okay, so you have taken a golf lesson, and you have a better way to swing the club.
You also have your old way of swinging the club, which feels comfortable.
The Sandwich Drill goes like this:
Make a slow motion swing making the correct, new motion.
Make a slow motion swing making the old, incorrect motion.
Make a slightly faster swing making the correct, new motion.
Now, make a swing at the golf ball making the correct, new motion REGARDLESS of where the ball goes.
This works better when you are videoing your swing for feedback-this highly accelerates the process.
In conclusion, you are "sandwiching" the old, incorrect swing in between the correct motions. Eventually, the incorrect motion will start to feel incorrect, and the new way will take over. This drill was first shared by Ian HIghfield, author of the book Golf Practice: How to Practice Golf and Take Your Range Game to the Course.
